Sunda Strait, February 1976
In February 1976, an operator of a Decca Survey coastal radio station located near the Northwestern tip of Java island was on a night shift when he saw a nocturnal light which came from the direction of Sunda Strait (between Java and Sumatra, famous for the Krakatau volcano). It was glowing with a red color. When the witness switched off the lights in his radio station, the UFO approached until it grew as big as a peeled coconut. When he switched on the lights again, it shrunk to the size of the lighted end of a cigarette (held at arm's length). He was perplexed by the movements of the UFO, which he described as "like a dragonfly."
